Dr Tony Aubynn, chairman of the Black Galaxies management committee, believes the team is motivated ahead of Saturday’s second match against Benin in Cotonou.
In the opening leg, the Black Galaxies defeated Benin 3-0 at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium. Goals from Daniel Afriyie Barnie, Mohammed Alhassan, and Gladson Awako helped the squad advance to the next round of qualifiers.

The Medeama Board Chairman is optimistic that the squad would qualify and that the Sports Ministry will pay the team’s winning bonuses to the players.
