Liverpool fullback Alexander Arnold praised Gabriel Martinelli’s performance, describing him as a “quality player.”
This comes after Martinelli scored and provided an assist as Arsenal earned a valuable point at Anfield with a 2-2 scoreline.
Arsenal could have won all three points if they had held on to their two-goal lead.
Liverpool have a very impressive record at home and it was on display as they came back from a two-goal deficit to earn a point.
Trent speaking after the game said, via TBR:
“The goals have to come down one of the sides or through the middle so that’s the way football works.”
“You’re against a quality player, Martinelli, and their attacking line is quality all over. As a team, they’re full of quality, so they’re bound to be a threat and they’ve got the goal.”
