Ramsey played for 10 years at Arsenal under Wenger’s direction, and he had great success working with the Frenchman as he won the FA Cup three times.
After agreeing to a three-year deal with the French team, Ramsey will now get the chance to reunite with his old coach.
At Ramsey’s official announcement, Borussia Dortmund’s former manager Lucien Favre discussed the forthcoming reunion:
Next week Aaron will be able to meet with Arsene Wenger, who’s supposed to be coming here. They know each other well.
He’s a player who can adapt to different positions. He feels football. He’s always optimistic and that’s very positive as well. I hope his injuries are behind him.
