Alex Runarsson joined Arsenal from Dijon for £1.8 million and was expected to be Bernd Leno’s backup following the departure of Emiliano Martinez.
The Icelandic goalkeeper has been a flop at the Emirates. He spent the previous season on loan at OH Leuven in the Netherlands.
Per Tuttomercatoweb report, they want to sign him on a loan deal with no option to buy. Runarsson is not currently in Mikel Arteta’s plans.
