Arsenal’s unbeaten start to the season came to an end at Old Trafford, thanks to goals from Rashford and Antony.
The game was entertaining, with Arsenal doing the majority of the attacking. United were content to give Arsenal possession in order to catch them on the break. Arsenal’s chances of a comeback were dashed by two quick counter-attacking goals in the second half.

Bukayo Saka, who turned 21 on Monday, scored Arsenal’s consolation goal.
Despite the defeat, Jamie Carragher believes Arsenal are a better team than Manchester United and believes they will finish ahead of the Red Devils.
Speaking after the game he said:
I think Arsenal will finish above Man United. Arsenal are a better team than Manchester United right now. Arteta’s three years in, Ten Hag is just starting and he’s gone a little bit more pragmatic because he can’t play the way an Arsenal team is now.
I think in two or three years time, the way Arsenal performed on Sunday that’s the way United will play, playing from the back all the time, playing through the lines. I admire what Ten Hag has done. So right now, I think Arsenal have the edge but squad-wise, that’ll be Arsenal’s big problem – if they get injuries to certain players.
