Tuttosport has nominated Arsenal’s Marquinhos for the ‘Golden Boy’ award. This follows the Brazilian’s impressive performances for Arsenal.
The youngster impressed in the under 23 team and scored his first goal for Arsenal in their Europa League win over FC Zurich. Barcelona’s Pedri and Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham are also candidates for the award.

This will be a huge boost for the 19-year-old as he attempts to break into the Arsenal first team. Arsenal intends to loan him out, but only if they sign a winger in the January transfer window.
Until then, he is regarded as a direct competitor to Bukayo Saka.
