Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has called up promising academy player Mauro Banderia to the first team.
Arteta has always stated that he will reward youngsters who excel in the academy by allowing them to train with the first team, and it is now Banderia’s turn, after 15-year-old Ethan Nwaneri had his moment.
Mauro Banderia, 19 years, has played in 18 Premier League 2 games for the U-21s, scoring two goals and providing two assists.
