The Catalan giants have made a splash in the current transfer window, securing big-money deals for Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha already this summer, and Servilla’s Kounde was thought to be on their radar as well.
Chelsea are said to be ready to rekindle their interest in signing the Frenchman after failing to do so last summer, and Gerard Romero claims that the Spanish giants are looking at the Arsenal youngster as a potential replacement.
Saliba had an incredible year on loan with Marseille last season, helping the French club finish second in Ligue 1 and earning the Ligue 1 Young Player of the Year award.
He is now expected to be given a role in north London for his parent club, Arsenal, and is set to make his competitive debut after three years with the club after joining from St Etienne.
