Mead has been dominant throughout the competition, therefore it comes as no surprise that she won the prize after helping the England team win the championship by defeating Germany 2-1 after extra time.
The winger earned a well-deserved MVP award for her outstanding performances, which included scoring six goals to assist the Lionesses reach and win the competition final.
Mead joins a select group of only four players who have previously won the Golden Boot for England at significant competitions.
