The Ajagurajah Movement’s founder, Prophet Ajagurajah, has suggested changing the name of Ghana’s national team to “Black Stars.”
The contentious prophet stressed the significance of names and their ramifications, and he recommended giving the Black Stars a new name.

He made this known an interview with Hitz FM in Accra. He said:
There’s no star that is black, there’s no star that gives off black light, they all give off a bright light, why would you name yourself Black Stars?

In 1965, 1968, 1978, and 1982, the Black Stars claimed their fourth and most recent Africa Cup of Nations victory.
The team has furthermore made three World Cup appearances, in 2006, 2010, and 2014, and will make a fourth participation in Qatar later this year.
The team’s name, according to the prophet, might be having an impact on how well they play.
