Boxing coach Jules Bevis, 55, died after collapsing in the ring during a charity fight to raise funds for a four-year-old girl fighting cancer. The late boxing coach was a uncle to professional wrestler Saraya.
The event was held to raise £20,000 towards a £220,000 appeal to pay for Kayla Buttle’s Neuroblastoma cancer treatment in America. However, Jules Bevis sadly slumped to his death.
The tragic incident occurred on Sunday afternoon. After collapsing in the ring, he is said to have died in the arms of his wrestler nephew Roy Bevis.
Efforts were by paramedics and police to revive him at the World Association of Wrestling Academy in Norwich, Norfolk, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
