Jamie Redknapp, former Premier League player, has slammed Arteta for benching Aaron Ramsdale in favour of David Raya.
Despite possessing a secure number one (Ramsdale), Arteta stunned many by bringing in David Raya from Brentford. Raya’s acquisition, according to Arteta, will help both goalkeepers develop.

However, in the few matches Raya has played, he has made some errors.
Fans chanted Aaron Ramsdale’s name after his dismal performance against Chelsea over the weekend.
Jamie Redknapp via Metro said:
“He looks like a bag of nerves right now. Raya is really struggling with the pressure and the scrutiny he’s under. He’s giving the ball away, he’s looking like he’s always going to concede goals.”
