Manchester United legend Roy Keane has given credit to Mikel Arteta’s team after Arsenal defeated the Red Devils.

Arsenal came out 3-1 victorious in a what was a thrilling game at the Emirates. The Gunners had possession for the majority of the first half but it was United that got the early lead through Rashford in the 27 minute.

Odegaard quickly drew level for the Gunners moments after Rashford scored (it took only 30 seconds).

The second half saw three late goals scored, one from United and two from Arsenal. United’s goal (Garnacho) was ruled out for an offside.

Arsenal won thanks to late goals from Declan Rice and Gabriel Jesus.

Roy speaking to Sky Sports after the game said:

“That’s tough but this us top level football. Credit to both teams and both managers, they both went to try and win the football match. Their subs were very attack-minded.”

“You think United had won it at the end, so tough on United, but United have scored a lot of late goals against teams. That’s part of the game, concentration. Maybe they just about deserved it, maybe just about, but it’s tough on United.”
