Sporting CP lost to Sevilla in a preseason friendly on Sunday, with young forward Fatawu Issahaku missing a key penalty.
The Ghanaian went for power and ended up hitting the crossbar as Sevilla won the shootout 6-5 to take the Troféu Cinco Violinos from Sporting.
Jesus Corona put the Spanish team ahead in the 15th minute. Sporting took until the 85th minute to equalize through Paulinho, forcing a penalty shootout.
Issahaku, who started on the bench, came on three minutes before the end of the game to replace Nuno Santos.In the shootout, the 18-year-old was the only player who did not convert.
