Trossard gave Arsenal a deserving lead in the first half but the goal was chopped off as Ben White was deemed to have fouled Leicester’s goalie upon review.

Nonetheless, Arsenal went on to win after Martinelli scored his 9th goal of the season in the 2nd half to give the Gunners a lone victory over Leicester City.

Linekar shared on his twitter handle:

“Arsenal have had a goal ruled out after a VAR intervention. As a Leicester fan, I feel relieved, but bemused by a decision that could notbe described, under any circumstances, as a clear and obvious error.”
