Arsenal skipper Martin Odegaard has heaped praises on fellow Arsenal teammate Declan Rice. The Norwegian even hinted at rice becoming the club’s next captain.
Rice has justified his enormous price tag with impressive performances against the big teams.

His goal against Chelsea propelled Arsenal to a comeback after going two goals down.
Odegaard sharing his views on Rice stated:
“I’m a big fan, a huge, huge fan of Declan Rice. “I think since he stepped up into the team, he gave the impression that he’s been there for ages.”
“He’s been like a leader and rolled into the team, and off the pitch, he’s so important.”
“For me, he can be the next captain of the Gunners with [Bukayo] Saka because he’s from the academy. Declan Rice has so much quality as a person but as a player as well. For me, he’s No. 1 on the team.”
