Arsenal lost to Manchester City 3-1 which sees them drop to second on the league log.

Eddie Nketia had a good chance to open the scoring for Arsenal in the first half after meeting Zinchenko’s cross but missed.

The Gunners have now gone 4 games without a victory. They will be looking to get back to winning ways when they travel to face Aston Villa on Saturday.

Speaking after the game, Shearer said:

‘He doesn’t get the connection. I think he hits it with the shoulder rather than the forehead that he was trying to connect with to guide it in.’

‘He won’t sleep tonight. But you have always got the chance to rectify your mistake and three days’ time he will hopefully put on in the back of the net and he won’t remember this.’
