Mikel Arteta, manager of Arsenal, has revealed what motivated him to sign Fabio Vieira.

Fabio Vieira joined Arsenal from Porto for £34 million this summer, but he is being eased into the squad due to an injury discovered during his medicals.
He came off the bench to play the final 15 minutes of Arsenal’s 3-1 loss to Manchester United. Soon after entering the game, he nearly found Martinelli with a nice pass.

Fabio Vieira did, however, make his full debut against FC Zurich in the Europa League, where he set off Eddie Nketiah on a counter for Arsenal’s first goal.
