Ex premier League player Shaun Wright-Phillips has urged Trossard to depart Arsenal.

According to the ex City star, Kai Havertz shouldn’t be starting ahead of the Belgian.

Trossard came on as a substitute to grab a late equaliser for Arsenal against Chelsea over the weekend.

Speaking on the Kelly and Wrighty Show, he said:

“If I was Trossard I’d be wondering what I need to do to play in this team. Even last season, he had a few mistakes when City won the title, but his overall performance has been nothing but unbelievable.”

“When he’s been needed he’s done the things you need to do on the buzzer. When you sign Havertz and he comes in before Trossard, if I was a player I’d be thinking maybe I’m not meant to be here, that’s how I would feel.”
