‘It hurts but I was wrong, it’s a clear goal’: Mitrovic apologizes for arguing with referee over Gabriel Magalhaes goal

After arguing about Gabriel Magalhaes’ goal, Fulham striker Mitrovic admitted to making a mistake.

Mitrovic (pictured) argued with the referee to overturn Arsenal’s winning goal, but after reviewing replays, he admitted to making a mistake.

Fulham gave Arsenal a torrid match and took the lead through Mitrovic. Arsenal then had to come from behind to secure all three points, thanks to goals from Odegaard and Gabriel Magalhaes.

Speaking to the media after the game, he said:

I was arguing with the referee, but I just saw the goal. And yeah, it’s my mistake. It’s clearly a goal and the referee gave the goal. It’s the right decision.

Hurts a lot. That is football, sometimes you win, last week last minute but today we lost.
