Newcastle United has been linked with a move for Ghana winger Kamaldeen Sulemana.
The Premier League team reportedly asked about Sulemana’s availability as they try to bolster and strengthen their roster in preparation for the forthcoming season.
The 20-year-old represents Stade Rennes, which he transferred to at the beginning of the previous campaign from Nordsjaelland.
According to reports, the French club spent €15 million to sign the gifted attacker. He won’t be released for the rumored £30 million transfer fee, according to sources at Rennes for Ghanasoccernet.
In his first 13 domestic matches for Rennes, Sulemana scored four goals and added two assists. He also scored against Lens on his debut.Due to a back ailment acquired in late February, his season was cut short.
The winger had been sidelined for more than three months, however he did come back into the bench for Rennes’ final match of the campaign against Lille.
