Kasim Adams made an impression on his FC Basel debut by being chosen man of the match.
The Ghanaian defender arrived in Switzerland last week and made his debut this weekend, showcasing his quality. The centre-back shone in Basel’s 1-1 Swiss Super League tie with Servette FC on Sunday.
Adams stayed on the field the entire game and according to Fotmob, made one chance, one shot block, two clearances, and two interceptions.
The 27-year-old joins FC Basel on loan from Hoffenheim in Germany, with the option of making the move permanent. Adams is keen for a solid season so that Otto Addo might consider him for Ghana’s World Cup campaign in 2022 later this year.
