Luiz Antonio Moraes has disclosed that Gabriel Martinelli was driven to work even harder after Manchester United decided not to sign him following a couple of trials.
This was revealed in an interview with the Athletic.

Martinelli has been excellent since joining Arsenal in 2019. He was the hero in Arsenal’s 1-0 win over Manchester City on Sunday.
Luiz Antonio Moraes speaking to The Athletic said:
“He was sad when the United move didn’t work out, but it didn’t last long. But he just kept working. Maybe even more than before.”
