Leicester City are reportedly interested in signing Arsenal’s Bernd Leno as a successor for Kasper Schmeichel this summer.
Following Aaron Ramsdale’s strong debut season last season, the German international has slid down the pecking order, and with Matt Turner’s joining this summer, he might find himself as the club’s third choice in the upcoming season.
Leno is thought to be available for a move at the appropriate price, with Fulham being the most firmly linked, but he could now be of interest to the Foxes.
Schmeichel is said to have agreed personal terms with Nice after requesting to leave the King Power Stadium, although he is unlikely to be allowed to depart until his replacement is found.
According to GFFN (via the Metro), they are looking at Arsenal’s Leno and Nantes’ Alban Lafont this summer, and they could swoop in ahead of Fulham.
