The Scot appears to have lost his place in the starting lineup to Zinchenko. Tierney is an excellent player, but he is more of a typical left back who enjoys bombing down the sides.
Arteta’s system, on the other hand, requires his left fullback tucking into midfield to form a double pivot in possession.
