Former midfielder for Arsenal Matteo Guendouzi, is said to have had a falling out with Igor Tudor, the new manager of Marseille.
Guendouzi, whose career came to an abrupt end at the Emirates Stadium, has a history of conduct problems. He was kicked off the first team in North London at the conclusion of the 2019–2020 season.
Such troubles have apparently continued throughout his tenure with Marseille, as renowned disciplinarian Tudor is said to be dissatisfied with the team’s attitude following his appointment as Jorge Sampaoli’s replacement.
According to L’Equipe, the 23-year-old and the manager got into a heated argument during halftime of last week’s friendly loss to AC Milan.
Little is known about the nature of the confrontation, but Guendouzi reportedly left the stadium and did not return for the second half as a result.
