Nuno Tavares, on loan from Arsenal, scored a stunner on his first competitive appearance for Marseille.
Tavares joined the French club during this transfer window after Arsenal acquired Zinchenko from Manchester City.
Arteta brought in the Portuguese defender as a replacement for the injured Kierney. When given the chance, however, he consistently failed to deliver.
Tavares is an excellent offensive fullback, but his defense is his Achilles’ heel. A goal in his first league appearance for Marseille is a clear indication.

Nuno scored in first-half injury time to help his team defeat Reims 4-1. His loan agreement does not include a purchase option. He is expected to play at the Emirates next season.
