Thomas Partey has been named to the Blackstars squad for their upcoming friendlies against Brazil and Nicaragua, according to the Ghana Football Association.

Partey sustained an injury after Arsenal’s 3-0 win over Bournemouth. As a result, he has missed two Arsenal games, including the 3-1 defeat at Old Trafford.
However, he is set to return to his national team as they prepare for Qatar 2022. Partey has appeared in 62 games for Arsenal since joining from Atletico Madrid in 2020 for £45 million.

Arsenal will be hoping he stays fit as they attempt to finish in the top four this season. The Gunners currently lead the Premier League with 15 points, having won 5 of their last 6 games.
