'People say they will fall off, no they won't': Agbonlahor backs Arsenal to finish in the top two despite disappointing draw

Despite their disappointing 1-1 draw against Southampton, former Aston Villa forward Gabriel Agbonlahor believes Arsenal will finish in the top two.

Arsenal had the opportunity to extend their league lead to 30 points, but instead settled for a draw in a game they could have won at halftime. Arsenal currently leads Manchester City by two points with 28 points.

It is only the second time this season that Arsenal has dropped points. Though many believe the gunners will slip following their draw, Agbonlahor insists they will not.

He stated, via Metro:

“Everyone keeps saying they are going to fall off but they are not going anywhere. For me, they finish in the top two this season, I don’t think they are going to win the league because I think Man City will beat them twice.”

“Apart from Man City, I feel they are capable of beating the teams around them. When they play Man United at the Emirates they will beat them.”

They won’t be scared of beating Liverpool at the Emirates. Arsenal are going to be up there, they are not going anywhere.”
