Sadio Mane completed his move to German giants Bayern Munich on 22 June 2022 from Liverpool. With Bayern Munich offering him £250,000 per week contract, Sadio Mane is now the highest paid African Footballer in the world..
This is a massive increment compared to the £100,000 he was earning at Liverpool. Liverpool is a big club no doubt but they have a very strict wage cap. Mane in his exit interview confirmed he will always be a Liverpool fan.

Yeah, of course! After every game! After every one of my games in Munich I will come to the dressing room and I will watch Liverpool, for sure, because I am going to be Liverpool’s No.1 fan forever
I just want to say good luck to them and I have an eye on them. And for sure they will be even better because I know the boys: great players, great talent, great maturity and attitude, so of course, Liverpool will always stay even better, for sure.
