After a fantastic loan stint at Olympique Marseille, William Saliba has finally made a comeback to Arsenal.

The defender joined the Gunners in 2019, but he didn’t make his debut until this summer.
Nearly all of that time was spent on loan at French clubs, but he has already returned to the Emirates and performed admirably for Arsenal in preseason.

Saliba is reportedly virtually guaranteed to start the Gunners’ match against Crystal Palace this Friday, despite the fact that they have three capable centre backs, including Gabriel Magalhaes and Ben White.
The Gunners’ Premier League season will begin with that match, and Football London reports that Saliba may have earned a starting spot.
