Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke is willing to back Arteta with £50 million in January to bring in two players to strengthen the squad.
Arteta’s men have had a strong start to the season, and they currently lead the league with 28 points, two points ahead of Manchester City. However, their lack of depth in key areas appears to to have cost them in recent games.
Arsenal lacks a reliable backup winger as well as a reliable backup midfield anchor. According to the Sun, Arteta wants to add a dynamic midfielder and a winger to his squad.
And, with Kroenke willing to spend money, Arteta will be able to bolster his squad in January.
