Japanese international Takehiro Tomiyasu is set to return to active football after missing several months due to injury.

Arsenal’s season-opening 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace was missed by the versatile defender. During the Palace game, Arsenal used Ben White at right back. But the former Brighton man struggled to keep Wilfried Zaha at bay.

Ben White is a natural center back who isn’t as versatile as Tomiyasu. Fortunately, the Japanese appears set to return after appearing for the u-21’s over the weekend.

Takehiro Tomiyasu is Arsenal’s best right back right now, and he is expected to play in the Gunners’ next game against Leicester City, according to footbal.london.
