Former Scottish player Ally McCoist has criticised rival fans for branding Arsenal ‘bottle jobs’ during their 4-1 defeat to City.

According to the pundit, the expression “bottle it” comes from people who “haven’t played sport at any level.”

The loss against City on Wednesday delivered Arteta’s team a severe setback in their quest to win the league. The good news is that they have secured Champions League football.

Ally McCoist told TalkSPORT:
