This comes after Roy Keane and Gary Neville stated that the Gunners had no chance of competing with City for the title. Arsenal defeated Leeds yesterday despite playing poorly.

With the win, Arsenal’s lead over City at the top has been stretched to 4 points after only ten games. Arsenal have been impressive this season, however, Roy Keane and Gary Neville don’t think they can go all the way to win it.

Micah Richards, on the other hand, does not share the same narrative. He stated:

“Arsenal have been brilliant. This season they have been different. They’re different. Over the course of the season, if they get a few injuries, probably not.”

“The difference with Manchester City and Arsenal is City can lose a few players and play the exact same way, they can afford to rotate.”

“If Arsenal lose Gabriel Jesus or Oleksandr Zinchenko to a certain degree or Thomas Partey in central midfield, all of a sudden they become a different team. But as they are now, they’re on a good run.”
