‘We had a chance until they came on’: Bodo-Glimt boss praises Jesus and Odegaad, labeling them as ‘quality’ following defeat

Following defeat to Arsenal in the Europa League, Bodo Glimt manager Kjetil Knutsen praised Gabriel Jesus and Odegaad.

Rob Holding, Eddie Nketia, and Fabio Vieira scored as Arsenal defeated the Norwegian giants 3-0 at the Emirates. Arteta decided to rest some key players in preparation for Liverpool’s match on Sunday.

Odegaad and Jesus were introduced late in the game and performed admirably. Fabio Vieira scored Arsenal’s third goal thanks to Jesus’ quick feet.

Kjetil Knutsen, speaking to the press, praised Arsenal, singling out Odegaad and Jesus as “simply world-class.” He stated:

“During the break we talked about how we were a bit passive. We stopped the ball and did not take advantage of the spaces we had.”

“In the second half we looked a lot more like we should. But they are not kind to us when they put on Gabriel Jesus and Martin Odegaard. Then we meet quality. It’s world class, quite simply.”
