Former Manchester United player Gary Neville believes Arsenal will ‘drop more points’ in their quest to win the Premier League.
This comes after Arsenal was held to a 2-2 draw away from home. Arsenal led 2-1 at halftime, but Firminho’s late goal ensured Liverpool earned a point at Anfield.
Arsenal are currently on a roll, having won seven and drawn one of their last eight games. And they currently lead Manchester City by six points.
Neville speaking after the game said:
‘This game was absolutely wonderful and we’ve got six more weeks left of this [title race]. I have thought all the way through that Man City would just edge it.
“I haven’t changed my opinion after today or even altered it slightly because I still think there will be points dropped from each side, but I think Arsenal will drop more points. Mikel Arteta will be proud of his players tonight.”
