Rio Ferdinand, former Manchester United player, has praised Arsenal for making good signings during the transfer window.
However, he has predicted that the Gunners will finish third this season. Arsenal had a fantastic campaign last season and were on track to win the league until their lack of squad depth ‘gave them up’.

This summer, they added players like Declan Rice, Kai Havertz, Jurrien Timber, and David Raya to bolster their squad.
Rio sharing his thoughts on Arsenal’s chances of winning the league said:
“They’ve arguably had one of the best strongest transfer windows up to this point. Declan Rice, Jurrien Timber, Kai Havertz, [David Raya] definitely strengthened the squad, the depth, the quality.
I think they’ll be top three this year, they won’t win the league though.”
