New Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi has passed over Arsenal in favour of Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea as title contenders.
The Gunners have had a fantastic start to the season, but many do not regard them as serious contenders. Arsenal has won eight of its nine games. Their lone defeat came at Old Trafford.
They demonstrated their progress against Liverpool, defeating Klopp’s men 3-2 at the Emirates. The victory propels them to the top of the Premier League, just one point ahead of Manchester City.

Roberto De Zerbi stated before his team’s match against Tottenham Hotspur last Saturday, via Football London:
“Tottenham, this year, they are in the right condition to win the Premier League. It’s not easy because there is City, Liverpool and Chelsea, but Tottenham have bought very good players, and with one year of work with Antonio, they are able to win the Premier League.“
