A spurs fan took to socials to post a video of himself burning an old Spurs kit with Christian Eriksen’s name printed on the back. His motives behind this is due to the fact that Erickson decided to join Manchester United.

The Dane decided to join Erik ten Hag at Manchester United after considerable speculation over his next club. Erickson spent the second part of the previous season with Brentford in his comeback from a cardiac arrest on the field at Euro 2020 last summer.
The fan took the extreme step of opting to burn his old Eriksen shirt in protest to the Dane joining Tottenham’s Premier League rivals.
He continued by claiming that Eriksen’s 2017 vow to Tottenham manager Daniel Levy that he would never play for another English club—a promise that Sportsmail had previously reported—was the reason he decided to set the kit on fire.
Eriksen will have played for two English Premier League teams after leaving Spurs, with Manchester United being the second..
