Arsenal defeated rivals Tottenham Hotspur 3-1 at the Emirates today to extend their lead at the top of the premier League table.

Gabriel Jesus scored to give Arsenal a 2-1 lead in the second half after a poor handling by the Tottenham goalkeeper. Jesus poaching instincts was enough to punish Tottenham Hotspur.
The win shuts ‘down critics’ who have downplayed Arsenal’s impressive form saying they’ve only won against smaller sides.

Arsenal have now won 7 of their last 8 games and have scored 20 goals in the process. They will be looking to make it 8 out of 9 when they host Liverpool at the Emirates on October 9.
