Arsenal and England star Bukayo Saka shared a warm embrace with Senegalese star Sadio Mane at the Ballon d’Or ceremony yesterday.

It was the first time the two former rivals met at the Theater of Chatelet. The Senegal captain finished second in the Ballon d’Or rankings, narrowly losing out to Real Madrid’s Benzema.

Saka was hoping to win the Trophee Kopa but strangely lost out to Barcelona’s Gavi. In fact, it was a surprise given that Bukayo Saka has better stats than Gavi. Gavi was ranked first, while Saka was ranked eighth.
