Ghana Blackstars defeated South Korea 3-2 earlier today to go second in Group H of the Qatar World Cup.
Ghana lost their first game to Portugal and needed to win today’s game to have a good chance of qualifying from the group stages.
The Blackstars won thanks to a brace from Ajax midfielder Mohamed Kudos and a goal from Southampton defender Mohamed Salissu.
With the game tied at 2-2, Ghana needed to reclaim their lead after blowing a 2-0 lead, and none other than Thomas Partey was at the centre of it.
He received a pass in the middle of the pitch and dummied two South Korean players who were pressing him, setting up his team’s winning goal.
