‘We dominated, they won through two easy goals’: Odegaard shades United insisting Arsenal were the better team

Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard has admitted that his teammates were disappointed and deserved to win against Manchester United.

Arsenal’s unbeaten run came to an end at Old Trafford, thanks to goals from Antony and Rashford. Despite dominating the game, United were more clinical in their approach.

Manchester United now sits fifth in the table with 12 points, while Arsenal leads the league with 15 points. Martin Odegaard admitted after the game that his teammates were disappointed with the outcome.

He stated:

“Everyone is super disappointed, we always play to win, we wanted to come here and get a result. I feel like everyone feels like we should’ve got something out of the game.”

“The game was there for us to take something, we’re all disappointed, the mood is a bit down but that’s how it is. The first and the second goal, we had the momentum of the game, we let them score two easy goals. It’s frustrating and annoying but yeah as I said we should’ve got something out of the game.”
