Former Manchester United defender Mikail Silvestre has encouraged Arteta to strengthen his defence if the club wants to win the Premier League next season.
This comes after Arsenal’s hold on the title slipped after failing to win their last four games. The drop off is due to the injury to highly regarded defender William Saliba.

The French international has been out for a month after injuring himself during Arsenal’s Europa League match against Sporting in March.
In his absence, the Gunners have only won twice in their last six games.
Silvestre shared his thoughts:
“The lack of centre-backs has been pricey for Arsenal and we knew from the beginning in the season that it would be the case.”
“Now we can see that an injury can ruin a lot, so they would need to strengthen that position for the next season.
