‘Wrong Angle’: Ten Hag insists Manchester United were robbed by VAR claiming his side deserved to win

Erik Ten Hag wasn’t a happy man after his side lost 3-2 away to Arsenal today.

Ten Hag’s side took the lead in the 27 minute through Rashford. Arsenal responded 30 seconds later via Martin Odegaard.

Garnacho seemed to have won it for Manchester United after slotting past Ramsdale in the 88th minute. However VAR intervened , ruling the goal as an offside.

The Gunners then went on to score two late goals via Declan Rice and Gabriel Jesus to clinch all three points.

Ten Hag sharing his views after the game stated, via Mirror:

“It’s not offside. [It’s the] Wrong angle. It is, so we have to accept it. But I’ve seen the angle. I don’t see it as offside.”
