Vukile Nkomo was allegedly murdered on Saturday night after watching a football game with his brother at Fingo Bottle Store in the rural village of Mbembesi. Nkomo was attempting to defend his brother, who was arguing with another fan about the match.

After the game, the brother and a man named Sthembelani Tshuma reportedly argued. Nkomo’s assassin stormed out of the bottle store, heading straight home to retrieve his machete.
