Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz has reportedly told friends he’s willing to join Arsenal, according to football insider.

The Brazilian was a top target for Arsenal on deadline day, but Villa rejected Arsenal’s £25 million offer, sticking to their £30 million valuation.
Douglas Luiz has a clause in his Villa contract that allows him to extend his contract, but he is unwilling to do so. As a result, Arsenal may renew their interest in him in January.

With Partey constantly injured, the addition of Douglas will provide Arteta with depth in his squad. The Gunners have already signed Fabio Vieira, who Arteta claims can play three positions.
