This comes after Gabriel Jesus attempted to flick the ball over Mathias Jensen’s head in the 36th minute.
However, he was unsuccessful as the Brentford player dispossessed him and delivered a cross into the Arsenal box. The cross was harmless in the end but Goodman felt it was ‘needless.’

At halftime, Goodman said of the game:
There’s the first bit of overconfidence from Arsenal. Gabriel Jesus tries a little bit of juggling in an area that he really shouldn’t be.
I understand you’re full of confidence, but there’s a time and a place really. Although Jensen wins it back, Brentford can’t do anything with it.
