‘Martin Odegaard is the Kevin De Bruyne of Arsenal, he’s so gifted’: Tony Cascarino praises Odegaard following impressive performance

Tony Cascarino, a TalkSPORT pundit, praised Martin Odegaard. Cascarino likened him to Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne.

This follows the Norwegian’s impressive performance against Fulham. He scored Arsenal’s equaliser and dictated the pace of the game, demonstrating why Arteta named him captain.

Martin Odegaard has three goals in four games this season. The Gunners have won four consecutive games and currently lead the Premier League with 12 points.

Tony Cascarino discussed Odegaard on the TalkSPORT show. He stated:

One player that stood out, he’s so much like Kevin De Bruyne, is [Martin] Odegaard. His ability to pass the ball, move it and you have to give a lot of credit to [Mikel] Arteta because he had been on loan and he didn’t send him back.

He made him one of his primary recruitment, the one he wanted to bring through the door and he’s so gifted.
